Nine African Economies Have Doubled

Growth is mixed across the continent. Some countries went backwards. These nine did not. Our World in Data tracks GDP per capita adjusted for prices and living costs: in each of the nine, average incomes more than doubled since 1990. Living standards moved with the line. The other story is still there. This is the one that rarely makes the jump.
