# List views

> List the views on a project

Returns the views on a project, ordered by when they were created.

A view is a saved grouping of the project's rows. Chart groupings are not included.

## Request

**Authorization** `string` *required*

Bearer token for a workspace API key scoped to this workspace.

**workspace** `string` *required*

Workspace slug.

**project** `integer` *required*

Project ID.

## Response

**data** `array`

Views on the project.

**view object**

**id** `integer`

View ID. Pass this as `{view}` when you fetch the view or its rows.

**name** `string`

View name.

**parent\_id** `integer | null`

ID of the parent view when this view is nested. `null` for a top-level view.

## Errors

| Status | Reason |
| - | - |
| `401` | Missing or invalid API key |
| `403` | API key does not belong to this workspace |
| `404` | Project not found in this workspace |
